Dafaseles Posted April 8, 2021 Report Share Posted April 8, 2021 Upon starting, a cold alternator will usually pump out more voltage than a warm one. When I start my truck, I get 14.7. After I run a while, I get 13.8. Every now and again when my battery needs a bump, I get 15.3. Fluctuations happen. As long as you don't drop below 12, your good. As far as the buzzing, that could be a lot of things. Pinched RCA's, a bad ground, faulty RCA connections to the amp. Those channels on the amp are bad...a lot of things. You'll have to start with the easiest, cheapest thing and start to try and isolate the problem 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here. Check it out!
