SesameCreeps Posted April 24, 2021 Report Posted April 24, 2021 What would be better, grounding my 1 mono amp and 1 4ch amp to the extra battery in the trunk or grounding the amps to the frame? Thanx for any advice.

Maybe even just add one more ground from the battery to your vehicle just to be safe 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here. Check it out!
clarknova Posted May 9, 2021 Report Posted May 9, 2021 The best place to ground the amp is the nearest good ground. If the second battery is well-grounded and closer than the frame, then ground the amp there. If the frame is well-grounded and closer to the amp than the second battery, then ground the amp to the frame.
