moose Posted May 16, 2008 Report Share Posted May 16, 2008 so my buddy decided it was time to upgrade. its a '94 chevy and used to have (3) JL Audio 10w0s off of a PPI 500.1....the upgrade was to (3) JL Audio 10w1v2s off a PPI 1000.1.............the 6.5s in the doors were some homemade low end speakers...now matching the 4x6s in the back....Alpine Type-S...all off of an Alpine MRP-550.......This is just a basic build...nothing insane, but one of our first "bigger" builds....let me know what yall think and if you have any tips. Moose Heres the truck. 6.5'' Alpine Type-S with customized grill matching exterior Tweeters HU -- Alpine CDA-9847 AudioControl 2XS External Crossover Subs with Customized ring to match exterior heres two vids(hope they turn out right) first is of a bass test, second is lil wyte - oxycotton sorry i didnt get more pics of the actual build im gonna see if i can find any and ill post them later. I dunno if the woodgrain is really "appropriate" in there since nothing else is wood but it's def unique, if you dig it then thts all that matters, and I have seen MUCH worse. Not a lot of room to work with in those trucks so nice job on squeezing some decent gear in there.
