15 vs 18

Okay ill measure how much space ive got between the floor and roof. So far the box ive drawn up has a gross size of 8.24, but after 104 square inches of port area tuned to 35hz and sub displacement it comes out to 6.5

if the box has 29 inches of height that'll leave me with 19 inches of space until the roof, that's also if it's completely vertical. Is 19 inches enough space or do I need to go back to the drawing board. This is what I've been working on sub and port facing up. Math says it should be fine but would like some more input.

With that type of layout I can confirm it works well with a height just below the headrest, box located passenger side, anything taller you will have to try yourself.  Your alternative could be doing a different better 15 sub to avoid having such gigantic box. It's always good to talk to many people and stay open to other ideas so that you end up with the right setup.

Went ahead and got the 18 on the way and gonna go for that design and see how it does unless someone else chimes in and thank you for your input.
