SirCake
Could use some help. Building a box per the manufacturer specs for a Rockford Fosgate T2S1-13. The port velocity looks very high (36m/s) but these are the manufacturers specs. Any thoughts or advice? I don’t want this $1000 sub to be chuffing lol. Joe X
I would expect you entered some data wrong in your softwares.
SirCake
Does anyone mind modeling this sub per the manufacturer’s specs to see what results you get for port velocity? 2000 watts of power, everything else is exactly like RF says on the site. Joe X
Here's the analysis with better software and correct input of data: As you might expect the manufacturer knows what it's doing.
SirCake
I entered the numbers exactly as shown with the correct units and everything. Do you think it’s a WinISD thing?
Joe X
I don't really use that program, check with someone who does to see where a mistake can be found if there is one. If there is no mistake then make your mind about using that program, as before the manufacturer would just hurt itself by issuing a malfunctioning spec, be sure they tested what they sent to print very well. Joe X
Check if you used the gross volume of 4 cubic feet instead of the net volume which is 3.1 cubic feet.
SirCake
Used 3.10 net volume
