JMC0415 Posted May 19, 2008 Author Report Posted May 19, 2008 Damn that sucks. I didn't even know it was clipped until I played it on my H/T setup (after bumping for about 2 min in my car at full tilt).
reinke Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 what do oyu mean by clipped? ----reference's---- meade916
JMC0415 Posted May 19, 2008 Author Report Posted May 19, 2008 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clipping_(audio) It was recorded (by the sound of it) with clipped waves.

Guest Dylan Dude Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 i though it was something else. i know what clipping is but i never heard it used the way you did. i did not know there was a "clipped" version of a song.yeah, it can happen. It's when the producer of the song makes the bass too loud. anything louder than 0 db will plateau at the top of the wave and will be clipped. "Mary Jane" by T-Rock is clipped. If you got the song on limewire, it could just be a stupid limewire version. On the cd, it might not be clipped.
moh.vze.com Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 Is there a program to scan mp3's for 'clipped' songs? Or do we have to do it on the scope when playing the song on our system?
