duder
So I busted my Pioneer head unit today and need a temporary replacement. I could go used unless there is a way to go headless. Would like to keep it around $100, $200 tops. Any suggestions? Would something like this work or wouldi still need a head unit? Joe X
For less than $200 you can get a pionner head unit single or double din. The DSP you mention can't assume all the functions of a head unit.
Joe X
If you have a tablet or phone or digital player you could use that with the DSP you linked connecting them through a 3.5 to RCA cable and that way you could run headless while you save to get a high end head unit but still many tablets and phones audio quality is not that great, you would need to live with that for a while until you upgrade. The other thing I can't tell you is how good the sound quality of those Brazilian DSPs really are, they are so cheap one thinks those can't be all that great but who knows.
