justinqualls1
I was woundering when running more than one battery is there anything that must be done. I think i read somewhere sometime that you must run an isolator or something. i may be wrong. Just needing a little help from you guys on how to do a multiple battery setup. qu1cks1lver56
if i understand right, if its the same battery, you can just wire them up hot to hot and ground to ground, and if theyre different, you gotta have an isolator or something. Well any battery can be wired to another with nothing else, isolators are only good for running your system with the car off so your starting battery doesn't die. I have heard that if you run 2 different batteries that one will drain off the other one, but I haven't seen anything like that with my personaly experience.
