So what do we do? 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR.

Built a new ported box which is exactly 2.5 cubes per sub tuned to 35hz & is the ABSOLUTE MAX dimensions I can fit into my trunk. Braced the hell out of this thing, it honestly might as well be made of concrete! This took me a solid afternoon, good 5+ hours. 100% air tight (checked everything over like 20 times), Except for the weather stripping which I will figure out soon. Cut a piece of metal out from the center to give clearance for the port: 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR.
RamenNoodles Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 So will it be louder now that it is completely sealed up compared to it facing the rear of the trunk?
