aquill1 Posted May 31, 2008 Report Share Posted May 31, 2008 (edited) The 03/04 cobra is a killer car. I've wanted one forever! I don't personally like the new shelby cobras nearly as much. Whatever you do don't get a gt and expect it to compare to a cobra. Too many people have done the gt to cobra change and it's a waste of time and money. It takes too much to be anywhere near comparable to the cobra. Especially with the block and tranny being bulletproof. ...Couldn't find the video that was like 1:09...For the money get a gto...I'm a ford guy so don't take it personally...But for the money that would be a better car... Personally at 18 I can't say i'd get a cobra though you'll get into quite a bit of trouble. I test drove a regular 2000 gt when I was 18 and was pretty shocked how quick i got the car to 80 mph when I wasn't trying. Better yet get this...LINK...I don't quite know how to describe owning a jag is like but it's awesome. You could get that car and crotch rocket for the same price as a used cobra. The car has a supercharger with 390hp and carries much more with it. I'm sure everyone else would feel different about that but trust me the car is awesome. You can get 03's pretty cheap but that link is a 04. Most 04's will have factory warranty with them still.
