Finally got around to making a video of my custom setup for everyone on here.  Alpine stereo  Two evl12s flat pack box kit Russian Baltic Birchwood,  2k amp silver tinned ofc wire and Taramps 4 ch amp 800w for the highs Just a regular old lead acid battery  2007 Merc.

You got it working so that's nice, you need to properly install your amp though, it might get damaged like that, otherwise looks good, it's playing pretty loud from what can bee seen.

Yes, the only problem is I appear to have dimming headlights. 

 

My stock battery crapped out a few months ago. The one that I had with the car when I purchased it so I recently picked up another one. I got a EverStart Max 

 

Seems like when I run my head unit at like 19 volume or higher. I notice dimming when the bass hits.

 

Is there something that I could do to stop that or do I need not worry about that.

You need to upgrade your alternator and/or add another battery. Also upgrade your wiring via big 3 or big 4.
