When you ride on rims and there is a rubber band tire on it, you never know when its going to be over for one of them from just one rock or pothole. I had to snatch one up in case they dont make that model anymore in the next few years. What would suck worse then hitting something, breaking ONE wheel, and its OVER, no more 26's. A spare was MANDO....besides, for the deal i got on my rims ($4400), an extra wheel for $500 and a tire is another $600, im lookin at $5500 for 5 rims. Considering 4 years ago 26's cost $15 grand, i think its pretty good. Im just like Bill, on a long trip, a brotha has been known to toss the spare up on the roof and strap that bitch down. I did it with my 24's every time i drove more then 100miles out of town Gots to have a matching spare Hell I got so tired of pulling it after long trips, that I just left it up there. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more.
