well the problem is i dont kno how to tune a box yetlol  u should ask mead lol give him all the specs on the box like lxwxh and hell be able to tell u i think

L=40 x h=15 x w=14 = 8400

8400 divided by 1728 = 4.861111 cubic feet.

now take out the wood's thickness

38.5 x 13.5 x 12.5 = 6496.875 / 1728 = 3.759 cubic feet.

now minus sub displacement wich is .18

and now you have 3.579

your port is 6 x ??x 10 I need to know this to tune it.

what kind of vehicle is it going in?   it does matter when designing a box, example.

if its a trunk car then obviously you dont wanna do sub up port back, so people cant just design a box on demensions alone, there is many things to take into consideration.

anyways good luck on the box, hope it works out for ya.

how about sub foward port up?

well the idea was port back and sub back  but the port i dont kno he has to make that choice lol one larg one or two areo

which would sound better two areo ports or one big slot port

well i think a slot port but i have a guy working on the tuneing for u lol

ok and the slot port is 6" wide goes all the way across the box and is 10" deep
