my first big car subwoofer build

Hey folks,

So I've been really wanting to build my first big subwoofer system for my car but I'm not sure if the specs match up since I dont have a lot of experience with big power. Basically I wanted to know what some experienced people think of components that I chose for my build, if the amp has enough power and so on and so on.

Subwoofers:          2 x 15" Deaf Bonce Apocalypse SA255

Power:                    each 1000w RMS and 2000w Max at 1+1 Ohms

Amplifier:              Deaf Bonce ASA1500.2

Power:                   2x 1500w at 1 ohm on 14,4V

You guys think that amp is powerful enough to decently run these subs without clipping the hell out of them? Technically it should since its over the rms rating of the subs but I dont really know since I have zero to no experience in these power regions.

Are 1 gauge power cables too large or would 2 gauge be enough? Also is there a difference running in 1 ohm instead of 2 ohms other than having more power?

Or should is switch to two monoblock amplifiers? Problem is two amps means way more cost and more effort and time to build and wire up and I want to stay at under 1500 bucks for the whole build since my car is only worth like 2500$ lol

Thanks for reading and lmk what yall think!

If your subs are D1 what you should do is get a single monoblock about 3000-4000 W RMS and wire the subs to one ohm and you will make the most of them. Installation will be just as easy.

Also very important is the box design that needs to be custom to your subs and vehicle, your subs enclosure can make or break your bass experience and is harder to get right than an amp.
