slybu Posted February 22, 2025 Report Posted February 22, 2025 following on from this thread: iv had this amp for over 20 years now and im wondering if i needs any sort of servicing/attention at this age? its working fine but with electronics some stuff ages over time like capacitors etc but not sure if amps like these are affected as much as computer motherboard caps were back in the day. do i just leave it as it is and keep on enjoying it or should i plan out some sort of maintenance?

If you notice degradation in performance, noise or any indication that something might not be going well with it like overheating or if it's installed in a heavy vibrating surface then yes do something about it asap.
