I have a 4 q class L7 10’s and a a box from Gately audio tuned to 36hz with 1.1 net per sub but kicker says they need 1.25-2.25. Is my enclosure too small

Well in theory Kicker would know what their subs require , but I assume Gately built this to fit the vehicle ...
What car is it in ? is it installed yet and how does it sound?

Kicker l subs will like larger boxes, their output is cone area based and lower power, lower excursion so a large very efficient box is best for them.

 

If the box you have is enough or not depends on how they sound to you.

 

If you don't have space you need subs that work in smaller enclosures, which is the current trend, high power, high excursion, smaller box.
