wow 3k thats a great budget man..possibilities are endless..well sq is sound quality..system that are more geared towards sounding good and not really towards getting loud..spl is sound pressure levels..these system usually arnt for daily listening but more for competiting, but alot of people do use spl subs for daily listening because they like how they sound..then you have sql which is a little of both..system that can get loud and still sound good doing it..

i really dont know how much space you have to commit to this but with a nice budget like that id look into

dc sounds lvl4 a spl sub that also sounds good

fi q series a sq sub thats knowin to get loud

fi bl series a spl type sub but also good for daily beating

sundown nightshade series this is more geared towards spl

here are the websites to check them out

Lol, levels are just the different models of DC subs. Its like how JL does their since you are familiar with them more. W0 is the bottom of the barrel and the W7 is the mack daddy of the line up. With DC level 1 is the bottom (not saying its junk because its at the bottom, it just isnt as beefy) and then you have the king which is the lv5.

But like A&W said, are you gearing more towards sound quality (SQ) or Deep hitting bass (SPL)

Check out www.FiCarAudio.com

If you are looking for a nice mix of SQ and SPL check out the FI BL 15" with the BP Power.

Since you plan on getting two subwoofers you will need to order subwoofers that are Dual 1 Ohm so that you can wire them together at a 1 ohm load. If you get subwoofers that are Dual 2 ohm you will have to run them together at 2 ohms which wont allow you to pull the best from your amp.

Give us more detail as to what you are looking for man!
