quad coils is almost a no for dd unless you can still find a 99 series sub.

I was wanting quads on my 9518s, but could not run them because the composite cone on the baskets had a small pitch on the cones, and the quad coils are shorter then the normal coils. They said it would of worked with a regular paper blend cone because of a bigger pitch, or on a sub with the "beast" frame which is what the 99 series had (which is a real shallow basket).

Alright I got to dig this one up. I thought the Atomic APXX was but I was wrong. Heres a SoundStream SPLX 99.9db

Edit: Also just found out some o2 subs have a high 99db sensativity also.

Sorry to say, but I know for a fact those SS SPLX subs are over exagerated from Soundstream directly

I did alot of installs with them, and did alot of umm reconing of them... LOTS... and there is NO Neo magnets inside the pole piece, and the sub uses all the same parts as another major sub with only 94db eff..... Its a great sub, but a few of them specs from soundstream were wayyyy off

and once again, the efficiency rating on a sub barely matters when trying to gain DBs

only effective when running low power to a system, thats about it

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
