Boon Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 (edited) Sensitivity numbers are the second-most lied about statistics on a sub (after power ratings) because they are all measured in different ways. The Atomic APXX18 is one of the most efficient subs around if I remember right. I would say the Holee S is pretty lies. Keep in mind that the DD subs that are setting world records are only rated at something like 88dB/1w/1m. Also consider that a low power handling sub is naturally going to have very high sensitivity, due to lightweight cones, soft spiders and lightweight coils - and vice-versa with an SPL sub. Atomic APXX18 DD 9918 DD 9918Z (If you can get your mits on one) Cactus Mark2 (mark3 on the way?) 18" DC Level 5 18" (Might wanna check with Rusty?)
