facing subs

With one of my old boxes, I hit 136.9 with a single 12, everything being the same, we moved the box back to about 6" from the back of the trunk and then hit 138.6 just from moving the box around.

ok i have a 86 cutlass and the back seat has been removed to face the subs into the car and i tried the reverse firing and it didnt seem to work goor for me but thats just me

that's kinda what I was thinking about just closer to the subs like within 3 inches. I noticed you mentioned metering the differences would like to know what you found. I'm not planning on this with my system change, but would still like to know what you find.

I never got it metered, Id have to take that ummm section back out just to remember the differance.I may close the top section and the section by the amp to see if it helps any.

yesterday I enclosed the rest off from the trunk and it accually got quieter in the car, so I took that part back out.
