dwright27
got the woofs this morning around 12. got the XT4000D running @ 2 ohms pushing like 450 RMS total from what the spec sheet says. its as loud as the MT was with 1500 RMS. The bad, got flexxing. i had to make a splice on the back because home depot didnt have any whole sheets of MDF today when i went so i had to get quarter sheets. so i got some more bracing to do. when my seats are pushed back and its pressed to the wall real hard it doesnt flex. gonna try and get it done tomorrow. who wants pics and vids? 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. dwright27
Started some "Body Work" All the pics look the same but they arent. just different stages of sanding ... thought id post em. Pulled the dented up bumper off Then the grill Started with a 120 grit scuff Then primed and wet sanded with 220 grit Then primed again and wet sanded with more 220 grit. Then primed again and wet sanded with 320 grit. laying a few more primer coats and a few more wet sands of 320 grit up to 400 then 600 then 1000. its smooth as fawk right now but im gonna keep going in grit until its like a baby bottom. the heads and tails SHOULD be smoked this weekend. and the other black piece will get the same treatment as the grille. the "wall" is coming out tomorrow or so as well, and im going with 3 layers of dampening on the roof, the floor, and the rear wall. 2 layers on the inner and outer skin of the doors each and 2 layers on the b-pillars. Also, gonna have a custom headliner made by my brother and thinking of getting some air brushing done by OD. got 3 or 4 50’ sppols of 1/0 to order to do my runs of + and -. so whos got the hook ups on em? i got a small one but im just wondering. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. Theyre strong as it sits and i got a few low spots on thre that i needa fill and sand and shit but FOR NOW im happy until they end up with more work put into em.
