So hello SMD from all of us at DBDesignsInc in Atlanta Ga. I hope to make this yet another place to hang out and learn some new things. Thanks to Jacob from Sundown Audio and Scott and Nick from FI. They made it possible for me to get what i wanted out of my small yet Awesome Dual Btl build. Its probably not a monster like the ones I have seen posted on here but, it gets the job done. Some of you know me from other forums and i send a shout out to you as well. Thanks. Here you go. A small video i took of some test runs on the 7 spider BTL 15's. Build consists of 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan ES Sport. 2 Custom 7 spider Loaded BTL 15's 2 Sundown Audio SAZ3000D's running Unstrapped @ 1ohm. 9.5 Cube off axis hybrid Tuned to 34 cycles. 4 Runs of 1/0 Power and Ground to the back. 6 Deka 9a31 Banked in the rear. 1 Deka G34 Up Front. 1 Modified Denso 300amp Alty. Build by SleepyHollow In Atlanta ga Adding 1 more in the future. Hu is a Eclipse CD5000. Video. Let me know what you think. Thanks. DBDesignsInc. Posted June 15, 2008 Author Report Posted June 15, 2008 I with the help of Nick and Scott had them setup with a Daily/SPL gapping. Just a lil tighter then daily and just not as tight as SPL. Tricked out NON Universal option in more simpler terms. The SpiderPack was setup with 4 hard a 3 soft spiders. This way they would break-in and stay within a certain modeled Spec. The enclosure was designed and setup so that it would take the benefit of the suspension characteristics. Also with the power that im running on them daily, I needed them this way so that I could compete with them as well and not touch a thing. So far so good. I get full Xmax no more no less and they stay cold pretty much. Compression profile is Beautiful!!!! Also if I may add BTL's are virtually in-destructible!!
