MickyMcD
Beyerdynamic DT770's. If you want a proper customised pair with engraved name, coiled cable and velvet pads, expect somewhere in between $400 and $600 AUS. However, they are acoustically flat to 20 hz. Team Maxxsonics John
There are alot of great head phones and most of them have been mentioned already. However, here is a recommendation from someone who flies 100,000 miles plus per year and not only enjoys good sounding music but also cares about comfort and noise cancellation. Try the Sony MDR-NC60 ($199.00) or the ultra nice MDR-NC500D ($399.00) http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores...categoryId=3728 They are available Sony direct or Best Buy. If you are not concerned about noise cancellation, try one of the other recommended models.
