ok, run a memory test

http://www.memtest.org

ive been looking around and it seems to happen with amd dual cores and corsair xms memory

Have you changed the memory timing at all?

no, but the processor that I had in here before was a 3800+ so it was still a dual core... ill run that test

well from what ive seen, the memory buffer goin into the proc get's corrupted for no apperent reason.

I run intel all around, so i don't have an amd machine to test my theory.

Just cause the screen saver? Cause it has not froze since I shut the screen saver off..

AMD CPU's and 4 sticks of RAM tend to have some issues iirc.

Try taking two sticks out and see what it does.

It worked fine the whole time I had my 3800+ installed... and the only thing that is happening is that my computer freezes after the screen saver is on for a long amount of time...
