///Alpine91 Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 hide it in the trunk so u can hear them prying it open. But i would spend some good money and get a reliable silent alarm. devious05 Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 the old guy that lived across the street from me hid a baby monitor by his front porch so he could here people breaking in. it worked for him Quote
dr.db Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 If you have a cheap car get a cheap alarm...tired of seeing people with 20-50k cars coming in and wanting a 100 dollar alarm...dumb(cheap) asses. Quote
audiofanaticz Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 there is no theft deterrent in a baby monitor, theres nothing that flashes to let the people know the vehicle is armed or protected. the baby alarm is not to loud, if your sleeping you may not hear it and the car still may get broken into. Even with a real alarm people may still be dumb fucks and try to break in. I wouldnt trust my car being protected by a baby monitor nor would many people here I think. Quote
