hotshot27
depending on your comps, they should be fine on their own. I have 1" tweets, 6.5 coax's, and 8" goldwood woofer in my door and I think it sounds great. But my coax's SUCK at midbass so I neded to add the 8's [cheaper than nice/expensive components lol] Quote Current Setup: Factory HU with LOC mids/highs-Insignia components Sub- E8 in bass tube Amp- sae-1200d Show Setup: HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony) fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps rears- Infinity Kappa coax mid/high amp - Autotek 5600 Subs - 2 RE SE 15's Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D Box - 5cubes sealed Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0 SECOND SKIN
deafyT
your 12"s will not blend with those mids. add some 8"s. hotshot27
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=290-356 That is what i used, not great, but super cheap. If i had more money i would have got the daytons edit: this is all ran off a set of 3-way diamond audio crossovers. mid, tweet, and rear [unmodified signal] off a 4 channel bridged to two channels [lol gets the job done] Edited June 29, 2008 by hotshot27 Quote Current Setup: Factory HU with LOC mids/highs-Insignia components Sub- E8 in bass tube Amp- sae-1200d Show Setup: HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony) fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps rears- Infinity Kappa coax mid/high amp - Autotek 5600 Subs - 2 RE SE 15's Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D Box - 5cubes sealed Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0 SECOND SKIN

Bigg Boy
I think these might be worth the wait for them http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=264-874 Quote Dodge Magnum with custom 300c front end, laid out on air bags *4) 12" Cadence Daytona walled *1) AudioQue 20k *270a DC Power Alt (Dual coming soon)
hotshot27
may i ask why you dont want 8's? it would be a good transition between 6.5's and 12's and these look kinda sexy. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=295-376 Edited June 29, 2008 by hotshot27 Quote Current Setup: Factory HU with LOC mids/highs-Insignia components Sub- E8 in bass tube Amp- sae-1200d Show Setup: HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony) fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps rears- Infinity Kappa coax mid/high amp - Autotek 5600 Subs - 2 RE SE 15's Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D Box - 5cubes sealed Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0 SECOND SKIN
deafyT
88db efficient, 100w max power handling. it won't keep up with all your mids. that's a sub tho, might not play midbass very well. it *looks* impressive in terms of huge magnet and surround, especially for $51. good luck fitting that thang in a box up front Edited June 29, 2008 by deafyT Quote ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((in stereo))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) team audio thugz uuUhhHhhHhh. straight ghanxstuh since 2007.
