Honestly man i would recommend going with 6 12s ported in a wall or even firing up. Maybe some ssd from fi. Thats only 1200 bucks for the subs and run like 3 kicker zx2500.1. One to each pair. The amps will cost you roughly 600 a peice. Overall the same price as your expected 4000 and also would be louder than 12 type r's sealed off those overrated hifonics amps.

I understand if your just going for that wow factor from running 12 12's but in that vehicle your kinda pushing it.

I think you would impress your friends more with only half the subs that could still shit on the 12 12's..just my opinion

For the price of one SSD I can get 2 alpine, another reason I was going to go with alpine is because I know they work, and they can handle the power. Unlike my 3200 hifonics XXV that i melted with my hifonics amp. I melted the 15 in a week and i still have a 10inch that i have had for about 9 months in its place till i can get a new system.

Also the kicker zx2500.1 is way to big to fit 3 in my car and make it look nice.

How would you know if 6 Fi SSD 12"s are gonna be louder than 12 Alpine Type-R 12"s?

12 12"s > 6 12"s

Lol....

Did you even put those measurements together? He can do 12 12"s in a 19.71cube box, 1.64cubes per sub after sub displacement. Not big enough for ported.

Always putting a man down, anyway well just have to see what happens. This thread was as helpful as the 10 year old kid down the street.
