Hissing Noise On Speakers After Hu Install....

so yea whenever i turn on my car and the headunit kicks on the speakers have a nasty hissing noise. as i turn the volume up the hissing noise is drowned out by music. but also when i turn it up i can hear a slight pop as i hit the + button.

so is this just a result of the 20 wrms on my stock speakers? or is it sumthin more serious?

I had this through my subs and it turned out to be a ground on the HU... I would check that first.

So have u put an aftermarket HU in or r u still running the amp off the scosche speaker to rca converter thingy

sounds like a bad ground somewhere . try grounding a rca .if it helps run a ground and solder it to the rca.

if you unplug your rca's when your deck is on will blow your rca's out also and you will get engine noise.

i made this lil titorial on how to get rid of ground loop noise and its still workin in my truck, heres a link to it http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=15452 its pritty semple to work up and should fix it, it works with my pioneer should work wit ur jvc

ps. only works when usein a ab/2ch mids n highs amp dunno bout speaker outputs on the hu, and u only halfto do one rca thats how i got mine done, good luck with ur prob
