EricR Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 well im about half done. still have to put more bracing inside, put the 2 little side pieces on where it angles, front baffle and top. then im going to have to put 2 notches in the top where my trunk closes. i plan on glassing all around the front to seal it off from the trunk once im done. im nowhere near done bracing on the inside fyi. more tomorrow i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

I'm guessing he removed the stuff that holds it up to fit that big ass box LOL Looking great! Can you say swap & boooooooost? bass junkie hit the nail on the head. with the trunk rods in i only had about 15 for height, took em out and i have 17.5. plus once i get the box done and everything all pretty with trim pieces i wont be using the trunk at all so no biggy there. yea still all the same bro. if all goes the way its planned right now im taking a trip to dallas to see my family this weekend and staying till after christmas. but my homeboy is a painter at a paint and body shop. im gonna pay for all the paint and get a candy with 4 coats of clear....not sure on the color yet though. im thinking something flashy though. and dustin i actually stole the port and box idea from steve. check his old box in his civic...you'll see what im talkin about i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
