i dont know how i missed this build!!!! its so eerily similar to my own! (but looks like i did mine the hard way)

thanks man. i think yours was probably a little easier. this is a pain in the ass to try and figure out how your going to screw in a peice when its in the trunk on the box but i got it down now....just really time consuming. but heres a couple pics from the back (just dry fitted to make sure it fits) i really hope this sounds like i want it to sound. i kinda had to guess on the volume and the port was kinda an expeirment which i hope works. box is identical to meades old box he had in his civic if you remember im just ready for my damn amp to get here

have you tried closing that trunk???? do the arms clear???

and i'm pretty sure yours is the route for more common sense- i had to cut 80% of the metal behind the rear seats and most of the rear deck to get the bish to fit.

what are your plans for sealing and bracing?

threaded rod? dowel? resin?

na i just thought id jam the trunk down into the box ive already made the slots in the top and front of the box where the trunk bars go down and ive got little boxes built out of 1/2 inch birch that im going to glue and screw to the slots...you'll see. my boy asked the same thing im like man don't worry about it just wait till im done. sealing is all being done with titebond ll and bracing im not sure yet...i want to glass it but ive never glassed....

bro glass how i did.

home depot mat+resin+gloves+ Brush

mat then mix hardener into resin and soak mat. beeeeeyaw glassing for n00bs

if you get really confused i'm pretty sure there are directions on the can

if you still dont want to resin- 100% silicone II works great in all interior edges just make sure it cures before you drop the woofer in.

i'll be tuned in from now on

lat resin first and then lay the mat where the resin is so it holds the mat down. then resin over the mat and get it good and wet.

off topic - i really don't know man they came with the car when i bought it...i really didn't like them in the pics before i bought it but i love em now. nothin but compliments from everyone.
