System Turned Off

I was riding on the highway beating, then all of a sudden my system turned off and wont work now. I just checked the connections they were all fine, amp light comes on. I am confused now, i dont think i blew my amp(memphis mc 1000d), but im not sure.. any thoughts? thanks.

Did everything shut-off? (components, woofers, amps)

Or just the woofer?

just the woofer, i doubt i fried it tho, only around 1100 watts, maybe im wrong?

Could be a possibility, clipped signal maybe?

Try a diff. woofer on the amp just to be sure about it.

i could kinda hear some tinsel slap, gained maybe turned up a little too much hmm, i guess ill just pull the woofer out and check it, i did notice a little metling around theamp -> sub wiring... werd.. time to build a new setup maybe i want to wall out my acura, but $$ aint easy!

Yea make sure you didn't rip the tinsel out of the cone, and are you talking about the speaker leads, or the power wire for the melting? Pics would be awesome.
