Boon Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 A big box isn't always good, especially not in a raw SPL build. I'm a big fan of the small box, big port theory for SPL. Personally I think 4 cubes for 1 10 is a bit big. I would be doing something like 1.1 cubes with a 6" aeroport tuned to 50+ (depends on your car's peak of course...) Quote 10.x volts fo' life! It runs an old busted up Kicker CVR10 for fun and pulled 137.9dB legal on Termlab, in my station wagon, off only 25 watts!! Small box FTW!! My mate runs like 0.5ft^3 net. per 10" Kicker Solo X 10" in his CRX..... There are some big gains to be made if you match the box to the car..
