Question About Ohm Load For Components...?

Recommended Posts

So if i were to seperate a pioneer premier 720prs midrange and tweeter what ohm load would each speaker have

when using the crossover it would be 4 ohms, but would each be 2 ohm wired in series, or 2ohm mid with 6 ohm tweet?

or both 4 ohm wired in some mysterious way that doesnt change impedence?

edit* im going to wait to buy a 4channel amp but until then...

i have a jvc shx-8500 which is 35w rms x 4 @ 4 ohms digital class t internal amp

it has front hpf 1.6khz-16khz @6,12,18 db and rear lpf 31.5-200hz @ 6,12,18 db and hpf 1.6khz-16khz @ 6,12,18 db

so if i found component set rated at ~75w rms, could i not use the crossover and use the deck instead since itd be active instead of passive
