ChiTownTBird312
yeah thats one of the reasons i decided againts the BTL's with the avalanche before i got rid of it....i think im going to go with the W7's...ive heard them liked them, heard better, but cant go wrong with them because they sound amazing. what amp would be good to power 2 of them? im going to go measure my trunk space to see how big of a box i can have made and ill get back to you guys with that in a second. oh, and are the jbl power series or jbl gti series subs any good? havent heard much about them, and dont see too many people using them Matt W. 1996 Thunderbird LX Sport 4.6 new system soon...still deciding on what to get. AI James
I've heard great things about those jl's. they sound amazing, wont take 2x rms like some subs but will sound clean and i think they look clean also.mine was fine on 2k rms honestly 1500rms for a pair to 2k is perfect imo more is a waste
hotshot27
there is a recent build on here with 6 15's JBL i believe. it looked badass. and for amps, RF t2k? or 2 JL 1000/1? those seem kinda obvious. ChiTownTBird312
yeah that rockford amp is out of the picture, i know that already. it costs to damn much, well i shouldnt say too much, just more than i want to spend on an amp. and the jl is up there too =\ and the trunk space i have to work with is about 15.5" tall(low clearance with factory amp), 38" wide, 25.5" deep(clearance with factory amp again) ive got a cheap sealed box my cousin made for his car, but didnt use. its 35" wide x 14" tall x 15" deep edit: and as far as upgrading electrical...didnt plan on it, but if i HAVE to i will do what i gotta do.
