I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. ISO Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 To my knoledge a sub should be able to produce 100 hertz and down. A midbass should do somewhere between 50 and 60 hertz to 500 hertz and should be crossed over at close to 70 to 80 hertz to a respectible level around 200 to 500 hertz with no probblem. I am saying I want my mid basses to beable to handle low frequency extension but not use it to the maximum and 500 hertz is probbly too loud for the mid-bass. I feel it should be a comfortable filler between the sub and mid range and should not be noticeable if X-overed propperly.
