Jcoleman134
the phone cord looking plug in would be where your bass remote plugs in to.

E-Train
Okay, well sorry for sounding dumb but what exactly does strapping mean <<<Dumbass and when I install this thing, how can I keep it from clipping, so i dont destroy my new subs Quote 1997 4 Runner Alpine CDA-9886 4 Fi Audio X Series 12's 1 Crunch GP3000D Pro DC Power Inc. wL<3bass
subsonic filter cuts the freq lower than your box tuning so that your subs dont unload themselves and phase shift is used for change the phase of the subs i.e.: 0degrees they go in 180degrees they go out edit: and to check for clipping put it on an oscilloscope and look for flat peaks were the amp trys to put out more power than it can cutting off the AC current and becoming DC current which does nothing but heat your voicecoils up. E-Train
nice amp whats the rms on it? # RMS Power Rating: * 4 ohms: 900 watts x 1 chan. * 2 ohms: 1300 watts x 1 chan. * 1 ohm: 1700 watts x 1 chan. # Max power output: 3000 watts x 1 chan. Thats the Specs on it, I mean i pretty much got 50 bucks in it so i think i got a good deal and thanks for the explanation of phase and sub sonic, and clipping but idk where to get a osciallscope (sp), so how do i prevent clipping just dont over power the amp?
