ISO
Thats not a bad little amp. Double check to make sure it has the rite fuses in it. As of rite now with 90 amps worth of fuseing the amp will not do more than 1000 watts RMS at 1 ohm. Quote Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one. wL<3bass
# RMS Power Rating: * 4 ohms: 900 watts x 1 chan. * 2 ohms: 1300 watts x 1 chan. * 1 ohm: 1700 watts x 1 chan. # Max power output: 3000 watts x 1 chan. Thats the Specs on it, I mean i pretty much got 50 bucks in it so i think i got a good deal and thanks for the explanation of phase and sub sonic, and clipping but idk where to get a osciallscope (sp), so how do i prevent clipping just dont over power the amp? No get exposports iirc rms guide and get a dmm and set your HU volume to 75% or just before audible clipping and dial your gain in with no bassboost until it reads the correct voltage from the speaker outputs. Here a nice little tutorial on setting gain made by JL audio CLICKY! So turn up the Hu volume until it sounds like the subs are bottoming out, and turn the gain down or up until the speaker outputs read 12V?
