What year is your X? What brand of H.O. Alt are you running? Where did you find kickpanels to fit it? Thanks for the info. D

Mine is a 98. Got my H.O. alt off ebay from Motor City Reman. Got my kickpanels off ebay also. They didn't fit just right, had to do some mods to them. QLogic didn't make kicks for 98 explorers, atleast I couldn't find any. These were for a 95-96 explorers.

Thanks for the reply. I have a 99 and I want some kicks too but I am not sure if I can make a newer set work or If I had to try older ones like you. I was hoping they were from a f150 or something like that. When you took off your roof rack what did you do for the holes that were there? And I like all the mods you have done with your truck. Keep up the great work. D

Mine is white and an AWD so lowering it would suck and I have Goodyear Silent Armor tires on stock rims. I live in Kansas so the running boards are a little rusty and it snows a fuckload here. Those rims would look good on my truck and so would removing the roof rack. I may have to use it though when I get my system redone here in a few weeks. I need a place to put luggage. But your truck gives me inspiration. Thanks for the extra photos. D
