Forevrbumpn Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 the vehicle part matters the most, cuz if you have a ford festiva, and that amp, your not putting a whole lot in there I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Krice420 Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Well its obviously going to depend on which subwoofers you are planning on using and if you have enough space and power to run them efficiently. Also i hope you have beefed up your electrical for this amp correct? but all in all if you have the space and the power then 4 15's should give you a little more db then the 18's in the same type of box around recommended size just due to sheer advantage in cone area. 2 18'' fi btls fully loaded 2 sundown saz 3000d 1 iraggi 200 amp alt 3 powermaster 3100d series batts 11.75 cuft wall after displacement tuned to 31.08 hz
Basshead2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Author Report Posted July 16, 2008 Ok so I probably didn't give enough info. Like I said it is going into a 96 toyota 4runner. I do have the electrical system slightly beefed up but may need to do more. I did the big 3 on a 130 amp alt. used 1/0 gauge wiring there and from front to back. I am using a 10 farad cap and I still need to get a couple of batteries. I don't want to spend over $1500 for the speakers and batteries. Maybe someone can find me a good deal. As far as the box goes, I really don't know jack about building boxes. I will have to get help with that. But I have a good little amount of space to work with Howard A.K.A.- Ol' Mater Current systems Speakers: -2 15" Kicker Comp VR -4 15" Lanzar ProMax -2 Kicker comp 6.5's -4 infinity tweeters Amps: -1 HiFonics 750w mono -1 Kicker 550.1 -1 Lanzar Vibe 2ch 2000w -1 Legacy Predator 2ch 2000w Items I have bought for new builds: -2 Kicker Solo X 18's -2 Kicker Solobaric L7 15's -2 HiFonics Xx Goliath 5000w Monoblock Ultra D class
