what you tryin to do with them? just sound quality for a daily system, or you trying to hit numbers? I am running an audison vrx1.500 and I am very happy with the sound quality of my 2 15" kove armageddons. The amp is a single channel 2000watt class a/b amp at 1ohm. Very accurate!!!!

A a/b class bass amp? No way it is putting out full power it says. It can't be efficient at all.

Ok, sorry i didn't do research. I was on my cell posting. So explain to me how it is efficient. I doubt most people want a amp with a 50% efficiency rating IMO. I could be wrong though, i have always heard D class is better at making power then a/b. And also the a/b doesn't create current as well as D class does either.

The biggest disadvantage of Class A is that it is inefficient,

ie: it takes a very large Class A amplifier to deliver 50

watts, and that amplifier uses lots of electricity and gets

very hot.

Quote from Statson

Class AB amps, however, tend to be bulkier than a Class D amp of the same power (due to their lower efficiency)
