BAGGEDBIRDS.com
should i go: 1. all active crossovers with my Studio 204 (4 channel amp) 50 watts per ch. to the tweets 50 watts per ch. to the mids (5.25") Studio 300x (2 ch. amp) 150 watts to the Hertz 165L midbass OR 2. use the Quart reference passives that came with the 5.25" set with my Studio 204 (bridged to 2 ch.) 200 watts per ch. to the Hertz 165L midbass Studio 300X (2 ch. amp) 150 watts per ch. to the Quart 5.25" components (passive) #1 should be the untimate in clean but its less power . Although the same power i have now and its pretty darn loud. Amp working way within spec. and clean #2 has more power but at what cost to quality between bridging the amp amp using passive crossovers. Working the amp a little harder. kingsuv
All active. Mine is running around 50w per speaker and is plenty loud. A cleaner signal FTW Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
