twiztid8322
Im talking about the thing that he allways holds and then cranks the bass. Does anyone know what that is called? and where to get a cheap one? Im putting 4 kicker 15" cvr's in a walled box where my original rear seats were. With a zx1500.1 amp. And i just want the bass a little bit loud to trick people into thinking my system sucks and then I just want to slam that switch and make it knock hard. I was thinking about putting a 12v on/off switch on the remote amp wire but that would just make the subs go off and then on. And i know your not supposto just hammer the bass full volume from off to on quickly.

twiztid8322
what the hell are you talking bout? See I knew I wasnt a moron. I would have got a bunch of shit talkers for this post if I didnt find what I was talking about. It plugs into your RCA cables to adjust signal voltage. It is not a booster of any kind. It cuts out your signal voltage through your rca's and you can turn the dial as little as you want untill you get more voltage and your at normal flow. etaks_crew
Yup its all how you set up your amp if you do it correctly then the knob should make a big difference and yes they do have rca ones but if your amp has one you shouldnt need one of those. I think when I set my amp setting mine my knob either half or 3/4 of the way up. And like chode said if my knob is down then there is almost no bass.
