REVOK1NER
Alright so I have a CompuStar Vizion alarm, just the 1 way, no LCD or anything, no remote start, just the basic alarm. I got it installed at sound solutionz maybe a year and a half ago. Every once in a while it will stop making the "beep" when I lock and "beep beep" when I unlock, because its been put on mute. Because there is a combo of buttons you can press to mute/valet/passive etc. But I would just take it down to SS and Shawn would fix it for me. The problem this time is my blinkers don't even blink when I lock or unlock my car anymore, and my LED in the dash also doesn't blink, but it used to when it was just on mute before. This just started happening yesterday. So is something wrong with my alarm? Can anyone help me out here? REVOK1NER
I've tried valet mode, I've tried passive, turbo, mute, all of them. Does it need to be locked to be taken out of valet, or unlocked? Or any specifics? I will try again but IDK this is getting frustrating considering my car sat outside all night with my alarm not being armed. REVOK1NER
Alright I will try that. And I just looked at the little unit under my dash and it is like blinking different colors, I am not sure if that means it has power or not. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it still isn't doing anything. Thank you for your help so far if anyone else has had this problem let me know!!! No beeping, no alarm going off, no flashing of blinkers in front or back, no LED, nothing! I need to fix this! dr.db
2000 Ford Explorer. I would get under the dash and check for loose harness wires at the brain,I would even go as far as unplugging the brain..reconnect that shit and see what happens.Double check the connections on everything..relays for the ignition kill..everything
B Slaps
i would take it back and let them fix it. if you f*ck with it it could void warranty and they might not touch it if you tell them you messed with it.
