I don't think there would be any way to put 10 15s in a CRX and get it to do over a 145. You would need at least 25 cubes to make 10 15s happy and that would be on the small side.. Have you even seen the inside of a CRX? There isn't much room to work. You are trying to put an Astro van's worth of equipment into a cracker box...

The second image may be possible for a crx, more than the first for sure.

I think that if you look at my most recent edit 87 crx, you could get 10 15" woofers in a crx, it is not to size, but it is worth a thought. If Eric Yates,http://www.pro-creations.biz/ericmagB.htm, can get a 9 cubic foot in the back of a crx with 2 15's and hit a 158 on the meter, then squeezing 10 15's shouldn't be that far down the line. Say if the amps and batteries were underneath the vehicle. If not, then surely 10 12's.

#1 a 158 in 2000-2002 is todays 148, maybe 150. No way that rex in that old article does 158 on the new meters and still plays music. It looks like its loud AND musical but not 158 loud. (TL sensors)

#4 you DEFINITLY arent getting 10 15's AND 30,000 watts.

#8 theres people burping 158 with 2 12's in Rex's with one or two amps.... but they are SEASONED vets with lots of experience. That dont mean you can do it with 10 12's and 4 amps.

lol Steve. I know it's a fantasy to be able to accomplish that, but I do think it's possible since, we have flat woofers and all. In no way am I trying to piss anybody off. I'm just sharing an idea.

But, on a side note why would 30,000 watts in a crx not be possible even if you were using only two subwoofers?

I've owned an 87 crx and did a b16a swap, and a 10 gal summit racing fuel cell install, I know how small it is on the inside. lol

Oh, on a serious note where's the formula for those 25 cubes, because I've been looking for one in which to incorporate more than one woofer in a given box or TL unless it is the total Sd of all the woofers involved.

what makes a crx different from an astro van besides space? You can swap a bigger motor into a crx, let alone make custom alternator mounts for it as well.
