(130amps or so) and stock battery with the addition of a stinger spv35 battery Enclosure: 2.5cubes net-tuned to about 28 Hz The sub and amp have yet to come in but we went ahead and started on the enclosure. In order for it to fit behind his seats we are going to have to move his center seat/consol forward about 2 or 3 inches. He decided that he wanted to try and paint the box instead of carpeting it….so here it goes… Day 1: the build tools i likes me some audio stuff... andym85 Posted December 26, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 26, 2006 Day 2: “body work” My friend’s dad owns one of the biggest signs companies in Louisville, so we took the box down there to paint and stuff…they do all kinds of signs-from neons to large billboards…. here is the paint booth area before sanding my buddy, during sanding after sanding spraying primer i likes me some audio stuff... andym85 Posted December 26, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 26, 2006 mixing the paint-jet black first coat second coat third and final coat didn’t turn out to bad considering we have never painted a box before…having the proper equipment sure does help a lot…I will post more pics when we install everything.. i likes me some audio stuff... andym85 Posted December 26, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 26, 2006 yea, there are some pits and stuff, but it turned out about as expected, i give us a C+ or B- for quality...but it aint going to be seen much with it being behind his seats, plus its our first paint job. we are about to go pick it up, cause we left it down there to dry. i will get a few more pics of it in some better light and some of his truck... i likes me some audio stuff...
