01 S-10
I just picked up a sheet of 3/4 inch birch for my next box build and wanted to fiberglass the inside due to not having room for internal bracing. I was looking at Tapplastics website and I'm confused about what oz. mat to get and also can I just use resin or do I need to use a hardener also? TDH FTW !!! Your also going to need resin AND hardener. Torres
if it's a flat surface you can get the thicker mat since you dont need to worry about curves. the resin should come with hardener. it wont harden otherwise, just dont add too much hardener to the resin so you dont 'cook' it and so it wont harden on you real quick like. Torres
i just get lots of disposable brushes. about a dollar a piece. little less. a roller will probably help a lot with thicker mat. you definitely want gloves tho
