reinke Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 i am gonna do a extreme 1 build for next season. i can not find any real ruls as to what i need to do for a extreme 1 car. the only ones i can find are that the loading walls must be behind the b pillars and be completely clear. and something about the alt placement and battery box placement. where can i look or who can i talk to for info. ----reference's---- meade916

reinke Posted August 5, 2008 Author Report Posted August 5, 2008 http://www.dbdragracing.com/dbdrag/rules/ thats where i looked. i need to know what actually qualifies a extreme car as a extreme car. ----reference's---- meade916
assman Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 Basically what would make a car extreme would be any modification in front of the B-pillar.If you check out David's jetta build how he has the steel on the ceiling in front of the b-pillar,that would be in the extreme class.Floor build up door build outs or roof build downs. There are rules to how far you can build up,out or down. Its just alot of reading. assman Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 here is a link to the cabin size limitations http://www.dbdragracing.com/dbdrag/rules/2008/section3.asp Other then that you just have to read through the whole page of rules and read it again.
