wL<3bass
yea sry i am new at this. i just want to get a sick system now then hav to spend more money later. so u think i should get a ported box? the impedance on the pioneer Premier TS-W8102SPL subs i want is 2 ohms. would the Audioque 3500D still be able to work at 1 ohm Power @ 18V @ 10% THD so i can get the 6500 i need? LOOK AT THE THD......10% and at 18v that is strictly competition burping. im basing this off of known knowledge about pioneer itself, not the level of sub you named. Pioneer subs are wal-mart subs, cheap. Sure two of the lower level ones sound good on 400w rms because thats their max power they can handle. Throw another 100w rms @ them and POOF. Although with the sub your looking to get, theres tons of better subs that will out perform the pioneer all day long - if your going for street beat. (to name a few: btl, nightshades, 9500 dd's) I think you're opinion is REALLY stuck on the pioneer's and thats not good. Let the people with YEARS of experience on this forum help you. and no these subs are "walmart" junk I just happen to have installed two of the 12" models and they straight wang. Only thing once you blow them guess what.....no recones for you you have a 75+lb paperweight...... wL<3bass
and to the OP You may want the ts-w8102spl woofers well heres what happens you clip them and blow them up goodbye you don't get to fix them for $100-120 like a BTL or BL #1 You don't have enough experience for any of the subs listed I sorry if you think I'm bashing you but you don't..... #2 If you even think your going to run a 3000wrms amp on your stock alt and battery.....I give it a week before your smoke your amp. #3 Get a single 15" BL loaded and a t1k and call it a day and a big battery in the trunk.
