Box And Port Troubles

Hey everyone. i'm in the process of designing my next box. its going to be 38.5 wide by 18 tall by 30 deep. Looking at around 10 cubes there. looking for about 8 cubes after all my displacement of woofers and port. I'm going to be wanting this tunned to 35 HZ, and i want more port area. this box will have the subs and port firing upwarts because it will take up the whole back end of my blazer. so i need help with my port. i've always done aero ports cause they are easy to work with. so i wanna do a slot/vent port. looking for it to be about 18 wide and idc how tall. i want a good amout of port area because i will be doing USACI events next summer and my subs will be wantting to move alot of air.

so in short. i need help with my port area and how to do a correct vent port. so... help please. haha

port opening 23x5=115sq" of area (about 14sq"/cube)

it will be an "L" shaped port....total length will be 22"

tuning will be around 34.9hz, net volume is at about 8.24cubes (assuming each sub displaces .18cubes)

ok, those "L" shaped ports, i don' have a clue how to do those, and where to measure the 22" from.

i'm a noob to the l shaped ports. haha
