Sq Going To Crap.

Recommended Posts

So My trucks System (Pioneer HU, Power Acoustik mids) has started to sound like crap lately. It wasnt that great in the first place, but loads better than it is now. Now it seems when I have it up at louder levels, the bass completely overtakes the singing/rapping. Big problem. I like my bass but not when the rest sounds like shit. If one of you fine brothers could help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

My Head unit Settings =

HP Filter: Off (Off/50/63/80/125)

Bass booster: +5 (+6-0)

Fie: Off (Off/100)

SLA: +4-(-4))

Fader: 0 (balanced)

EQ Low: +3, EQ mid: +6, EQ High: +4

Loudness: Low

Subwoofer: Off (dont have one)

EQ Curve: Natural

Thanks :friends:

I just noticed you have loudness on turn that junk off.....that is the ibggest failure of a feature on any headunit I have ever seen....I turned that one when I got my 5900ib and 5000ub jsut to test it all it did was introduce distortion into my mids/highs and thats amped.

I'll check that out man, thanks.. will that be enough power to run 4 speaks cleanly?

If you run only one 200.2 your speakers will be in a 2ohm load (higher THD) and you will have no front to rear fade.

Alright, I'll turn that (the Loudness) off, front and rear fade wont matter anywho, I dont mess with it.

Problem 2: in your thread it says you'll only accept paypal, problem #2, the only way I could do it is money order, + I've never bought audio stuff online so no refs :sorry:
